Best of Planet of the Apps!

Zite
Michelle's first app is called Zite. It's a personal news reader like flip board that uses your interests to customize your feed. And it's free!

Instapaper
Jacob's first app this week is one he recommends any chance he gets. Instapaper allows users to save news articles and other online content to read later.

Netflix
Andrea's first app is Netflix. The app lets you adjust your DVD queue, and more importantly, streams any content available online from Netflix as long as you're a subscriber.

Urbanspoon
Next, Michelle looked at Urbanspoon. While she's not a "foodie" this app can recommend great restaurants in your area. And it's free as well.

Kindle
The Kindle app from Amazon is one Jacob thinks everyone who has an iPad should own. The Kindle bookstore is much better stocked than the iBookstore.

eBay
Andrea's next app is eBay for iPad. Andrea really likes the fact that the app is very easy to use. And it's free!

Kayak
Michelle's final app this week is Kayak. This app helps you select airfare and hotels and the interface is great.

Reeder
Jacob's last app this week is called Reeder. It's an amazingly well designed RSS reader. Very well worth the $4.99.

Discovr
Andrea's final app of the week is one she reviewed a few weeks back and is still in love with. It's called Discovr and it helps users find new music artists based on their current preferences.

Thanks for watching and here's to the next 50 episodes. See you next week!
