You have a lot of options when you want to buy or transfer your domain. Some of them are confusing, and try to trick you into making additional purchases of features you don't need. Hover wants to change all that. It's simple, neat, clean, and it's trying to make purchasing a domain EASIER. The prices are clearly labeled and don't change, and there are even helpful video tutorials on the front page to help you make decisions that are best for you. They don't have a "hold" system at Hover HQ. If you call them, the phone rings until someone picks it up and talks to you! Also, private registration is included in the price, they're the only registrar offering that. And you can create your own nameservers and A records. For a 10% discount, use promo code TWIIP. To check it out, and buy your first domain, go to http://twi.hover.com

News
New Tablets
HP Slate 500, is back from the dead. After HP purchased Palm, there was speculation that all tablets from the computer maker would run webOS but this tablet runs Windows 7. For now, anyway. The HP Slate 500 will sell for $799
ViewSonic 7 and 10
Another option is the ViewSonic. The neat feature of this tablet is you can dual boot, meaning it will run either Windows7 or Android 2.1.
Walgreens tablet
Walgreens is offering a $99 tablet from GPS maker Maylong. Jacob thinks it might be a case of "you get what you pay for" but is nonetheless very curious to see what this tablet offers in terms of user experience.
[Hint]Jacob is not Van Gogh and is not Tom Sawyer. The has he's wearing isn't supposed to be straw.[/Hint]
Nook
Barnes and Noble's Nook launched originally as an e-ink reader. It's now sporting a full color display, and will soon have a fully curated app store. At $250, it's more expensive than a Kindle, but the full color screen should make for a great user experience. That said, Jacob has said that he's seen a video of people using it and it seems a bit slow.
HTML5 usage doubles
According to TUAW, the usage of HTML5 for web content has doubled in the last 5 months. A big reason why is that iOS devices, like the iPad don't support Flash so website creators have been forced to re-encode much of their content to make it viewable on these devices.
[Sidenote] Andrea is now using an iPad case from ZooGue Thanks to ZooGue for their support. [/Sidenote]
AppStation for Pilots
The AppStation allows pilots and ship captains to access information on their iPad while at the controls, the case features straps to secure the iPad without the need to balance on your leg. It's neat, but Andrea can't figure out why a pilot needs an iPad in flight.

Carve it!
Jacob's first app is Carve it! a do it yourself Jack-o-lantern app.
WHAC-A-MOLE
Next, Andrea reviews WHAC-A-MOLE a Halloween mash up of the classic carnival game.
Zombie Wonderland
Next up, Jacob reviews Zombie Wonderland. The controls are iPad specific and the game is fairly simple. Kill as many zombies as possible. And it's only $0.99.
Scene it? Horror
Andrea's final app this week is Scene it? Horror. The scene it franchise takes on horror movies. Plus the app offers the "scream machine." If you're ever in need of a violent scream.
