You have a lot of options when you want to buy or transfer your domain. Some of them are confusing, and try to trick you into making additional purchases of features you don't need. Hover wants to change all that. It's simple, neat, clean, and they're trying to make purchasing a domain EASIER. The prices are clearly labeled and don't change, and there are even helpful video tutorials on the front page to help you make decisions that are best for you. They don't have a "hold" system at Hover HQ. If you call them, the phone rings until someone picks it up and talks to you! Also, private registration is included in the price, they're the only registrar offering that. And you can create your own nameservers and A records. For a 10% discount, use promo code WEEK. To check it out, and buy your first domain, go to http://twi.hover.com Also, to transfer a domain to Hover and waive the normal $25 fee, just call them at (866) 731-6556 and mention our code WEEK.
But wait, there's MORE!
We are giving away a $50 iTunes gift card and all you need to do to cash in is email your receipt from Hover to ipad@thisweekin.com. First person to email their receipt gets it. Also, thank them on twitter @hover.

Planet of the Apps
Free apps

Angry Birds Rio
Andrea's first app this week is Angry Birds Rio HD Free. It's a re-imagining of the Angry Birds universe set in the upcoming movie "Rio" out April 8. It's fun and it's free.

Flick Football
Jacob's first app this week is Flick Football. It's the same game as Paper Toss, but with soccer instead of wadded up paper. It's a nice time waster for when you're in line somewhere, and the price can't be beat.

Omaha Steaks
Andrea's next app this week is Omaha Steaks Steak Time HD. It's a handy cooking guide and timer that helps you make better steak.

All Recipes
Jacob's final app this week is All Recipes. It's basically a cookbook on the iPad, and it's very good at doing that. That said while the app is free, the app does have additional features you can purchase in app if you want to.

Winner
Both Andrea and Jacob agree that Omaha Steaks wins this week.

Next week's Planet of the Apps will focus on Sports apps, and specifically Baseball so if you have any suggestions, please email the show at iPad@thisweekin.com.

See you next Wednesday!
